The client wanted to modernise her outdated kitchen and make the dining area more convivial and practical.
The kitchen was redesigned to optimise space and introduce colour. The client opted for sage green storage units. The choice of materials—green-veined granite for the worktop, echoing the cabinet colour, and wood-effect floor tiles—brought softness and modernity to this living space. Lighting was also completely redesigned to eliminate any poorly lit areas.
The appliances were removed from the kitchen and relocated to a small utility room, which was slightly enlarged and fitted with additional storage.
To better define the dining area, a custom-made painted wood corner bench with built-in storage was created, providing seating around the table. A timber screen was installed between the living and dining areas to subtly separate the spaces without enclosing them. Circulation was improved, and the layout was redefined to create a far more comfortable everyday living experience.
