The existing ground floor was redesigned, with only the kitchen glass partition being retained.
Built-in storage units were created in the entrance hall, and cement tiles were installed on the floor. As the TV area was moved upstairs, the living room became more spacious, allowing for the design of a bespoke shelving unit incorporating a built-in wood-burning stove. The stainless-steel flue was intentionally left exposed. A full-height curtain adds a theatrical feel to the space.
On the first floor, the parents’ level includes a large bedroom, a dressing room, a bathroom with WC, and the TV lounge. In the bedroom, a custom-made headboard was designed to fill the space left by the chimney flue. On the mezzanine, the TV area is simply separated from the staircase landing by an oak screen. A bespoke library unit was also created to accommodate the television.
The second floor, dedicated to the children, includes a large bedroom with a bay window, a study, a WC, and a colourful bathroom with both a shower and a bathtub.
The lower garden level was simply redecorated. The two en-suite bedrooms, each with bathroom and dressing area, were repainted. Access to the small paved courtyard, completely private and secluded, was redesigned.
The garden was also reimagined with the installation of paving stones and a Nordic bath.
